Yearbook of UNWE is a peer-reviewed academic journal of the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. Established in 1922 as a prestigious forum for fundamental economic and social research, the journal today serves as a bridge between tradition and modern scientific standards. While retaining its historical title, the journal operates as a biannual periodic edition, publishing high-quality theoretical, methodological, and empirical studies. It welcomes comprehensive contributions on the interactions among economic dynamics, societal change, and sustainable development, including conceptual papers, synthesis studies, and in-depth empirical analyses.
The journal uses an Online First publication model. Accepted manuscripts are published online promptly after peer review and editorial processing. The average peer review period is 6 to 8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the revision cycle.
